But there's the hook. I would never try to sound like you, just as you would never try to sound like me. I picked up this one glossy comic where one of the Marvel Comics writers/artists re-imagined Superman. It was a kind of crossover thing. Superman was blonde. He was from Krypton, but he flew with the help of a rocket pack. Lois Lane was his publicist instead of a journalist. Marvel did this for a lot of other DC stars, but I only picked this one up. It was interesting if not good. That's what I'm thinking about achieving...keeping the facts of your story accurate, but with my slant. And you would return the favor in kind. I would love any help your wife can offer. Looking at other press kits, I may be putting the cart before the horse, as I don't HAVE a readership and I don't HAVE a focus, the latter of which is intentional. Ahhhh. But there’s the hook. For the record, the synopsis of the spec Mad About You script involved Paul finally getting to meet one of his film directing idols, an obscure auteur who directed a handful of Euro art house films in the 70's but had been in hiding and hadn't released anything in about 10 years. Turns out the director gave up cinema so he could make some real money shooting porn. Hilarity ensues. (this is m_r’s little bro here).
