I was im-ing Crump in Australia who has never seen this video. It’s one of my favorites, but I don’t think I’ve seen it since its heyday, way back in nineteen eighty-whatever.
I remember that the same director did a similar video for Yoko Ono with a giant bell. If anyone can find that, I’d love to see it. Junior, this video is also for you, as I know how you love trippy music videos.
This may have been my first exposure to The Art of Noise. In junior high and high school they were my favorite group while everyone else listened to Depeche Mode and The Cure. This may be one of the reasons why people called me weird and a druggie…even though I never touched a drug or had a sip of alcohol until after high school.

Is this the one you were talking about? Cause you just sent it to me and told me to put it on my website, so I think it is. There you go: http://www.watchthisvid.com/latest/yoko-ono-hell-in-paradise.html

Good stuff.
I think we might have some Art Of Noise at home… I’ll have to give it a listen.
Also, I love that I can classify watching films and clips like this as “homework” and “research”.
